39th Census of World Casting Production--2004: as casting production grew across the globe last year, individual nations reported more expansion than contraction for casting shipments.
According to the 32 nations responding to MODERN CASTING's 39th Annual Census of World Casting Production, 2004 was a positive year for the global casting industry.
The results from 2004 showed that total global tonnage (represented by census participants) appeared to increase by 8.4% with nine of the top 10 producers revealing increases in production in 2004.
